This is not breaking news or anything but I was time constrained on a commission and when I couldn’t get the job done in other applications, Fusion 360 was up to the task. Even with my limited 3D/CAD knowledge I was able to fill the vent holes on a Raspberry Pi case and cut my custom vents into it.
I threw the filled version up on thingiverse for others to customise.
Great tool but as a (mostly) Debian user I just wish there was a Linux port. There are plenty of capable CAD and 3D modelling applications for Linux and I need to explore these avenues further but on a job where I was time limited, it’s usability was a lifesaver.
